The Lesley Batchelor Gallery was launched in March 2019.as an initiative of the Ballan & District Community House. Lyn initiated and guided the establishment of this intimate art space as a means of fostering the art and craft interests of the many groups who meet and create at the Centre.

It is a small but well-appointed space with professional hanging and lighting systems to encourage the development of young and emerging local artists and crasftpeople.

The space honours one of the House’s treasured Art Teachers who volunteered her time, expertise and enthusiasm for Art for many years here in Ballan.
